In the tenth and last class of the add-on development course for Google Workspace we are going to carry out the process of publishing our add-on created with Google Apps Script. We are going to take advantage of the code that we have prepared in the previous lesson to insert Giphy Gifs to turn it into an application, that is, the idea is to create a new project that only has the code necessary for the insert random Gifs functionality to work. This is what we will publish in the Marketplace. Iceland Email Address At this moment is when we will have to create the application page within the Marketplace where we will modify the meta information of the page that users will be able to see when they search for the add-on.
Once this is done, we will proceed to send the add-on for review to be published. Go for it! This content is only available to subscribers. You can identify yourself in this link or subscribe to the courses . That easy! We already have our add-on in the process of publishing. Now think that two things can happen: that they ask us to modify something in the add-on because they require more information or that they directly publish it to us. Once published it is relatively easy to upload updates so I encourage you to think about new features that we could add to the extension. Uae Phone Number We must bear in mind that to publish in the Marketplace we have to transform our Google Apps Script project into a Google Cloud project.
Once we have created the Google Cloud project and changed it from the Apps Script configuration, we will continue the process to publish it in the Google Marketplace by activating the SDK. This is important since it depends on the type of add-on that we are going to create, the publishing process is different. I hope to see your add-ons published! And here ends this lesson and course! As always, if you have any doubts or questions, you can send it through the support form on the subscriber intranet. See you in the next lesson of the next course, whatever it is! 🙂
